Short meditations
The Taoist Farmer - short story
The Parable of the Farmer and the Horse. This story is a great reminder of what Dale Carnegie once said, "when dealing with people, we must remember we are not dealing with creatures of logic. We are dealing with creatures of emotion, creatures bristling with prejudices and motivated by pride and vanity."

writing- oral PROJECT - A PERSON YOU LOOK UP TO (=ADMIRE)
1- PICK UP A PERSON YOU ADMIRE, SOMEBODY WHO HAS DONE SOMETHING POSITIVE FOR HIMSELF/HERSELF AND FOR THE COMMUNITY.
SOMEBODY WHO IS SUCCESSFUL, WHO HAS A GOOD INCOME, A GOOD PROJECT OR PRODUCT THAT FUNCTIONS WELL
2- EXPLAIN IN WRITING:
SOMEBODY WHO IS SUCCESSFUL, WHO HAS A GOOD INCOME, A GOOD PROJECT OR PRODUCT THAT FUNCTIONS WELL
2- EXPLAIN IN WRITING:
- WHO IS THE PERSON
- WHICH IS HIS/HER ACTIVITY OR PROJECT OR PRODUCT
- HOW WAS HIS/HER BEGINNING
- WHAT HE/SHE DID TO ACHIEVE HIS/HER DREAM
- HOW MUCH TIME HE/SHE TOOK
- HIS/HER STRATEGIES
- HIS/HER DIFFICULTIES AT SOME POINT
- AN ANECDOTE OF HIS/HER LIFE, FAMILY...
- A CURIOSITY
3- ORAL EXPLANATION.
My example:
- A poor Russian boy who loved reading
- He has developed an application where he summarises books for people in a very short and visual way. FIGHT MEDIOCRITY (youtube) and application
- He started selling all kinds of things for money. After a while he started summarising books completely free in a youtube channel
- He worked very hard and when he had a lot of followers he set up (or started) the app charging money to people
- He took around 5 years (I am not very sure)
- Work hard and for free first and later be paid for his services. Do an excellent job. Give a lot of quality.
- His father criticised him a lot for selling things for money when he was young. The mentality of his family, friends, school, community was communist so not money-oriented or business-oriented.
- His father was a poor man who apparently worked a lot for money.
- He moves to the USA and lives there now. His project is a great success!
